Leah Brixey
TO DONATE IN LEAH’S MEMORY
Leah Brixey loved three things above all: her family, her students, and Puerto Vallarta. Her family constantly found connection and comfort together, united by Leah’s love and care. She is survived by her brother, Steve Lamier; daughter, Suzanne Brixey; and son, Christopher Brixey, as well as their respective families: Rebecca Lobsiger-Lamier, Ody Granados, Zachary Granados, Elena Granados, and Pamela Roganti.
Throughout her career, Leah served many years as an educator at Holton-Arms School and Browne Academy. Even after retirement, she remained a fierce defender of education for all. In her travels, she made herself a second home in Puerto Vallarta, spending half of the year there, year after year, for many decades. She was happiest when poolside, surrounded by family, friends, and food.
In honor of her lifelong dedication and love, her family would be honored if donations were made in her name to support the Girls Education Fund and its mission to educate and uplift girls in Puerto Vallarta.
