• Francie’s journey from Vietnam to the U.S. and Puerto Vallarta reflects her resilience and entrepreneurial spirit. With a successful corporate career, she rose to president of a $500 million company, holding senior roles at major retailers, including Crate & Barrel. Eight years ago, she founded Bonito Kitchen, which quickly became one of Vallarta’s most popular restaurants.

Beyond business, Francie has always been dedicated to those in need. She has volunteered for various causes, from soup kitchens to disaster relief, and raised funds for schools in remote villages. During the pandemic, she co-founded the Vallarta Food Bank, providing essential food to the community in a time of crisis.

Her work with the food bank revealed a significant need for more opportunities for girls. Believing that when girls receive the support and resources they deserve, the entire community thrives, Francie is committed to the Vallarta School for Girls. She sees it as a catalyst for positive change, inspiring hope and empowering the next generation of women leaders.
